Information Collection and Use.
ClecoAuction.com collects information from our users at several different points on our website. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
Registration.
In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. This information is also used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s sample requests. If we have trouble processing a sample request, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.
Sharing.
This company does not share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. We use an outside shipping company to ship sample requests. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. We partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
Correction/Updating Personal Information.
Registered members may edit their ClecoAuction account information at any time by using their email address and password, after we know a member's identity either through a cookie or through their login. If you have forgotten your password, please send an email to ClecoAuctionSupport@cleco.com with your username and we will generate a new password, which can be modified by the member later.
Security precautions to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of member information.
Registered members ClecoAuction account information is password-protected so that the member and only the member has access to this personal information. Registered members may edit their ClecoAuction account information by using their Email address and password.
We recommend that members do not divulge their password to anyone. ClecoAuction will never ask members for their password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect their personal information, ClecoAuction cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information members transmit to us or from our online services, and you do so at their own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. Ultimately, the member is solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of their passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you're online. |
